Outside printing is one that springs to mind. We have a customer in Camps Bay that has a guest house right next to the sea. Printing on Perspex was the application we suggested as its perfect for the adverse weather conditions expected so close to the sea. After two years exposure to the elements the sign is still perfect.
The application was much cheaper than many quotes received for vinyl, and the client was advised that vinyl would not last so close to the sea.
